About Us
Centro Ann Sullivan del Perú (CASP) is a nonprofit educational organization created in Peru in 1979 by Liliana Mayo Ph.D., to serve the community of people with different abilities (such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy or developmental delay) and their families.
CASP provides a comprehensive educational system which includes programs that span the life of their students. CASP has grown to become an international model center of inclusion, education, training and research with the following objectives:

- To include people with different abilities into life (home, school, work and community) and to prepare them to be independent, productive and happy.
- To educate their families so that they can be the best parents/teachers.
- To train professionals around the world in the CASP Philosophy and teaching method: the Functional-Natural Curriculum.
- To conduct research to identify functional teaching procedures.
- Each year, CASP educates over 430 students, from babies to adults, in the Student & Family Programs
- CASP has more than 50 children and youths included full-time in 41 regular education schools as part of the School Inclusion Program
- CASP has more than 100 people with different abilities included in more than 30 real workplaces as part of the Supported Employment Program
- The families of the students receive 171 hours of training per year as part of the Family Training Program
- CASP has trained over 350 professionals from 19 countries as part of the International Internship Program
- CASP has trained organizations in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama and Spain as part of the Training Program for Organizations
- CASP has trained more than 10,000 families and professionals in 63 cities of Perú and other 9 countries as part of the Distance Education Program
