About Us

Centro Ann Sullivan del Perú (CASP) is a nonprofit educational organization created in Peru in 1979 by Liliana Mayo Ph.D., to serve the community of people with different abilities (such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy or developmental delay) and their families.

CASP provides a comprehensive educational system which includes programs that span the life of their students. CASP has grown to become an international model center of inclusion, education, training and research with the following objectives:
  1. To include people with different abilities into life (home, school, work and community) and to prepare them to be independent, productive and happy.
  2. To educate their families so that they can be the best parents/teachers.
  3. To train professionals around the world in the CASP Philosophy and teaching method: the Functional-Natural Curriculum.
  4. To conduct research to identify functional teaching procedures.
  • CASP has trained more than 10,000 families and professionals in 63 cities of Perú and other 9 countries as part of the Distance Education Program
